First Elephant Rescue Featured on The Dodo!
We are thrilled to share some exciting news with our amazing community! On March 10th, we were overjoyed to see our first elephant rescue, Kanoon The Bull Elephant, featured on The Dodo’s YouTube and Facebook channels. This was followed by another heartwarming feature on March 16th, this time on Instagram and TikTok. It’s been an incredible month so far, and we are so grateful to The Dodo’s team for helping us share Kanoon’s story with the world. In particular a big thanks to Hannah!
Our First Elephant Rescue Journey
For those who may not know, our journey began with a mission to rescue Kanoon, a resilient bull elephant living in dire conditions in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Despite facing numerous challenges, including financial hurdles and logistical complexities, we were determined to give Kanoon the life he deserved – one of freedom, safety, and happiness.
Grateful for The Dodo: In Loving Memory Of Kanoon
Check out The Dodo’s amazing feature on Kanoon’s rescue! It perfectly captures our team’s incredible efforts and the heartwarming moments that made it all possible. From raising funds to the emotional day of Kanoon’s relocation, every step was documented with care and compassion.
Shining a Light on Kanoon's Story & Our Mission for Elephant Welfare
So naturally we wanted to extend our gratitude to The Dodo for shedding light on Kanoon’s story and the important work we are doing for elephant welfare. Your platform has allowed us to reach a wider audience and inspire others to join us in our mission.
The journey doesn’t end here – there are still many elephants in need of our help, and we will continue to fight for their well-being. With the support of our incredible community, we know that together, we can make a difference.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way. Your encouragement, generosity, and unwavering belief in our mission have made all the difference. Let’s keep spreading love and compassion, one elephant at a time.
Stay tuned for more updates and exciting developments as we continue our journey with Unchained Elephants!
@thedodo Elephant chained up next to a garbage dump for years has the best reaction when he finally gets to walk (and swim!) free 🥰 Keep up with the amazing work from @Unchained Elephants ❤️
