"What's up, guys! I'm Daniel, and I'm from Ecuador. I've been in sales and marketing for the past 10 years and have always been intrigued by exotic animals since a young age. I'm not proud of saying this, but I did not know better, and I had exotic pets—from turtles to parrots and even an alligator—as a pet for a week before releasing it back into the Amazon jungle. After securing an MBA in hospitality sponsored by the Thai government, I found myself on the other side of the world in Thailand. A couple of years later, I started a marketing agency at a time when Facebook was "not a place to advertise," back in 2012 until the pandemic, where I dove into crypto and NFTs. I realized then that we could combine technology and contribute to help unemployed elephants in Thailand during the pandemic, and so Unchained Elephants was born. A project which would represent the intersection of both worlds."
